Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Resilient, hard working, passionate, disciplined, goal driven.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
After adding time to my 200 breast at the prelims of the 2024 Futures championships, I was still able to secure a spot in the finals. At that point, it was my last event of the competition and I had already been training vigorously for a month with the Sarasota Sharks team.
I remember diving into the pool for finals that evening and just wanting to race. I wanted to be first at every wall. I forgot about my race plan and just went for it. In the last 50m it felt like there was a piano on my back, my arms and legs were giving out, and I started to spin, but thankfully, I was able to hold on to my stroke form and technique.
I touched the wall and looked at the scoreboard. I had shaved 2 seconds of my personal best. I was overwhelmed with happiness, highlighting the importance of trusting the process, and racing with passion.
Goals:
To qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games.
To make the Thai National Team next year for the South East Asian Championships.
Anything else we should know?
Since I have started swimming from age 11, swimming has become a central part of my life, teaching me the values of discipline and resilience. I have dedicated countless hours to training and competing, always pushing myself to achieve my goals. Beyond the pool, I apply the same determination to my academics, striving for excellence in both areas. I am eager to bring my passion for swimming and commitment to your university.
