Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Curious, calm, coachable, team player, loyal.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My first time shooting under par in a tournament was truly memorable. I had travelled quite a long way by myself and was a bit nervous in my one bed hotel room the night before the first round. I started the round great with several birdies, went to 3 under quickly. But a few holes later I ended up with a triple bogey on a par 3. That planted great disappointment in my chest. Despite the setback, I went back to basics, thought about what me and my coach had talked about prior to the tournament, and fought my way back to red numbers that led me to the best round of my life, at the time.
Goals:
In a long term perspective, being able to make a living from playing the sport I love, is of course the main goal. On the other hand, I enjoy the process as much as the sport itself. Therefore a crucial day-to-day goal for me is to always stay curious and to embrace the long road ahead of me. I’m positive that loving what I do can help me reach my goal of competing with the best players in the world. To really give myself the opportunity to reach as far as I can in my golf career is also an important goal of mine.
Anything else we should know?
Played many different sports during my lifetime. I played ice hockey in the local team Skärgårdens Hockey club for over 10 years. I managed to gain great coordination, mental capabilities and athletic understanding, that clearly helped me get to where I am today in golf.
I also sailed competitively for almost 10 years. I sailed together with different crews where we, for many years, made it to the top level in the entire nation in several boat types. Also here I learned how to be a team player, both being a leader and a follower.
