Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
resilient, focused, dynamic, energetic, conscientious
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
A really good memory that sticks with me was two years ago in my first U16 English Girls Amateur Strokeplay Championship. I was 1-over coming down the 18th and I reached the green with a 15ft birdie opportunity. Before I hit my putt, I glanced up and saw my name on the big scoreboard. I had a sudden strong urge that I wanted to see my name change from blue to black, and made the putt. That feeling of me holing that putt was the reason I chose to pursue golf!
Goals:
My short term goal is to be an active member of a US college golf team, playing loads of competitive golf and enjoying my studies. My long term target is to progress to the LPGA Tour and to represent my country.
Anything else we should know?
I have been a multi-sport athlete, and am now concentrating solely on golf, since I joined Denis Pugh’s Golf College in September 2019. My accelerated development in the past year has lead to a successful season, despite COVID, and I finished third in the English Girls’ U18 Amateur Strokeplay Championship in August, and in the European Golf Rankings I am fifth in England for the U18s, and 38th in Europe. I am on an upward trajectory and still have a ways to go, but my progress has made me even hungrier than I was before!
