Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

Hardworking, happy, serious, dedicated, focused.

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

My best memory in golf is probably the playoff last summer between me and another player. Why? Well, I hit the driver down in a fairway bunker from the tee, while the other player hit the ball straight and gave him the perfect position for the next shot. I walked up to the ball and saw that it had stopped in the downslope of the bunker. Even worse, I saw that my 125 metre shot had to go over a lot of trees and was out of bounds if short of the green! I really needed to hit it perfectly. I never hesitated and as soon as I hit it I knew. I ran out to the fairway to see the ball end up 5 feet from the pin. The feeling was amazing! I think that is the best (and most fun) shot of my life so far.

Goals:

My golf goal is to be the best I possibly can. I want to look back at my life and say I did everything I could.

Anything else we should know?

I’m the type of guy that will work until my parents drag me off the training facility. I love to practice and can easily work for many hours everyday. I love to compete both individually and as a team, but as a competitive person I naturally hate to lose.
