Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Focused, coachable, driven, committed, goal orientated.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
The best memory of my athletic career was when I qualified for my second Scottish Nationals (SNAGS) competition in the summer of 2019. At the time it was one of the first ‘big’ competitions I attended. During this competition I achieved a personal best and simultaneously won one of my first major medals. I was overjoyed with this achievement whilst my family watched on. More recently at N&D teams I competed with my teammates against other swim teams. The whole experience was really good fun and we managed to win several races working together as a team.
Goals:
To get the best times I can, to continue improving my technique and become even more disciplined off my turns. Eventually I would like to take my skills and drive from swimming and apply them into my career.
Anything else we should know?
On Monday mornings, I volunteer to support younger children in school with their reading and writing.
