Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
determined, hard-working, coachable, ambitious, respectful
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
Going to the European Youth Championships with the GB team, meeting new people and racing against new people at such a high level was one of the best experiences for me. It gave me an amazing experience of what life could be like if I am able to make it to the elite level and it made me more determined than ever. Crossing a finishing line in a position you want, is like no other feeling, and then when you do that at the European level, it is indescribable.
Goals:
My long term athletics goal for triathlon is to make it to the Olympics and to be able to stand on that top step and hear my national anthem being played, as well as, to go to Commonwealth Games and compete on the WTS circuit. Short term, I would love to qualify for the European and World Championships and gain more experience for the future. With regards to athletics, I would love to be able to keep both going alongside triathlon at a high level for as long as I can. My life goal after my sporting career is, currently, to practice law or more specifically sports law. However, options like coaching and sports science as well as jobs in and around sports are not off the table, which is one reason why I love the idea of an American university, as you are able to explore options before you commit. As long as I am happy and stay involved in sports, my life goal will be complete, especially if it includes some Olympic golds!
Anything else we should know?
I love playing basically every sport, especially basketball. I also enjoy music and love to sing and play the guitar!
