Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Passionate, dedicated, resilient, focused, growth mindset.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
One of my best golf memories was when playing the JSM (Swedish Junior Championship) club team tournament. Everything boiled down to a playoff, with all other matches already decided. The heat was on me and my playing partner, Vilma, as we tackled a crucial foursome playoff on hole 1, a par 5.
With the whole team counting on us, our coach Thomas had our backs, giving us pep talks and tips.
I stepped up, teeing off and found the fairway with my driver. Me and Vilma decided to stick to our game plan, with a lay-up shot. Meanwhile, our opponents tried to reach the green in one shot, but they ended up in trouble, falling behind.
When it was my turn for the approach shot, I nailed it, landing just 7 meters from the flag. While our rivals struggled and eventually ended up with a bogey, I found myself with a 1-meter putt to seal the deal and send our whole team into the final.
With Thomas, Vilma, and everyone else watching nervously, I focused and sank the putt. It was great to celebrate not just my win but also the whole team’s effort that got us to the final. It was a moment of pure joy and success, something I’ll never forget, showing the power of teamwork, strategy, and the thrill of competition.
Goals:
My goal is to continue improving my game and to challenge myself and grow as a golfer. I will continue to work hard both physically and mentally to grow as an athlete.
My long term goal is to become a professional golfer playing on the PGA tour and become the Best Golfer in the World.
Anything else we should know?
The most important thing for me is having great golf facilities close to Campus, so that I can put in all the amount of training that I want to do.
I also find try relationship with a coach to be crucial, so I can improve my game and grow as a golfer.
Also, being part of a team, where we push each other towards success is an important thing for me. I am highly dedicated and focused and do most of the training myself but I also like to train together with others.
