Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

Following my success at the British Championships in April 2023 with the fastest UK time for 200m Butterfly I was chosen to represent Great Britain at the upcoming European Youth Olympic Festival taking place in Slovenia for both this stroke and as a selected member of the Medley Relay Team.

I was particularly excited to showcase my skills in the pool as well as gaining valuable insights from other high level athletes. Furthermore, I was keen to experience European culture and different racing strategies and tactics.  The opportunity to race diverse range of swimmers in such a picturesque setting left me with enriched memories.

I was extremely proud to achieve a finalist position in an individual event and be a key member of the relay team, where I swam both heat and final contributing to our team winning the silver medal.  

My medal, swim cap and certificate from this event are proudly framed and showcased on the wall of my bedroom.

Goals:

My goals are to swim in the 2025 European Junior Swimming Championships, the 2026 Commonwealth Games and the 2028 Olympic Games. 

Anything else we should know? 

I enjoy a wide range of sports where I like to play golf in the summer, ski in the winter and I am a supporter of Newcastle United football team, which is a football team local to where I was born.

I am currently scheduled to teach swimming for junior squads and aim to complete my swim teaching qualification in the summer of 2024.
