Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Competitive, passionate, disciplined, resilient, motivated.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
At the 2022 Irish SC Winter Nationals I swam some great Breaststrokes but the main highlight for me was actually the 400IM. I didn’t have the best heat swim but got super focused and bounced back resulting in a 9 second quicker swim than the heats (& a strong PB). It was a great win too!
Goals:
To be the best I can be with no regrets! My dream is to swim and study in the US and then long term, I want to compete internationally and swim for my country.
Anything else we should know?
I am so excited for this opportunity and know I have so much to give. I suffered an injury in the year before lockdown so my water time was limited more than most. Being injured and unable to do the sport you love was incredibly difficult, frustrating and challenging – however this experience has enhanced my resilience and desire to succeed more than ever. I have already achieved so much since my full return to the sport and just keep going from strength to strength.
