Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
I have two best swimming memories! The first one was at the East Danish Championships where my team and I won silver in the 4×100 Medley relay. The energy was amazing and I was approximately four years younger then the others on my team, but I swam the freestyle and went really fast and touched second. My team and I were thrilled. The second one was at the Danish Junior Championships when I won the bronze medal in the 200 meter freestyle. The field was so close, but I gave it my all and swam a personal best and touched third. It was a dream come true and I was the first in my club to win an individual medal in freestyle ever at the Danish Championsships, which got my teammates and parents really excited!
Goals:
For now my goal is two things! My coach and I have a goal that I am going to win the 100 and 200 freestyle at the Danish Championships for seniors in two years. The second goal is to participate in the European Championships (short course and long course) in 2021. Eventually my dream is to compete at the Olympics in 2024!
Anything else we should know?
I started swimming when I was 12 years old and have developed very fast ever since. However, the last couple of years have been truly amazing. I went from being the 15th best in my club to being the very best in only three months and still am today. I went on to become top 3 in many diciplines in my age group in all of Denmark. I still am developing extremely fast and I cannot wait to see how far I can go with my swimming!
