Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Determined, attentive, motivated, competitive, resilient.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My best memory was playing in the last match of season for Leeds and District Union in singles matchplay at Normanton Golf Club. Myself and my opponent were all square going down the 18th hole with a number of spectators from both sides watching. I knew that my match had the potential to be the pivotol point necessary for our team to win the day. This made the pressure mount. Under this pressure I hit a great tee shot down the middle of the fairway. I then proceeded to hit my approach shot to within 6ft away from the pin from 102 yards away. This shot won me the match. I felt proud that i was able to deliver for my team and it meant that Leeds and District won the team event.
Goals:
I wish to be the best golfer I can possibly be by putting in the necessary hard work. I know that this will be required of me to fully support my team and my own personal achievements.
Anything else we should know?
My ambition is to be a part of a golf team at a college in America to enable me to progress in my education and massively improve my golfing ability. I feel that I have the right demeanour and attitude to achieve this. My past experiences playing team golf for my home city has been rewarding and I feel that I will benefit greatly from the team environment in US college golf.
