Why do you want to compete in college?
I want to be able to continue high level gymnastics whilst continuing my higher education and in the UK that wouldn’t be possible. It is a dream of mine to succeed in education and gymnastics at such a high standard. I haven’t reached my full potential as a gymnast and I believe college gymnastics is the right place for me to push my gymnastics further and enjoy the environment it offers.
What are your gymnastics goals?
To continue learning and developing as a gymnast to reach my full potential. I hope to graduate college proud of the accomplishments I have made there and with a degree that directs me towards my suited career.
What makes you different?
I have an incredibly strong work ethic and I like to push myself in every session. I have very good spacial awareness which hugely benefits me in learning new skills and adapting skills very quickly. I am driven and motivated but also supportive to my teammates and coaches. I recently was nominated and won the award for most inspiring gymnast in my club, this makes me honored to show what you can achieve with hard work, determination, courage and commitment.
What is your favourite event and why?
Floor is my favorite event to compete because I thrive off performing. I come from a dance background and was in the sport for 13 years. I really enjoy the artistic side and choreography of a floor routine as well as the challenge of pushing my hardest tumbles. I love when a floor routine comes together and I get to perform it and show off to the crowd.
