Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
hard-working, committed, team-player, coachable, ambitious
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My best memory would have to be when I achieved a national qualifying time at the start of 2021 after less than a year of competitive running. It really proved to me that I am capable of more than I think and that anything is possible if you work hard and stay consistent. It was the happiest moment of my athletic career, along with racing at the National Championships and running a personal best there.
Goals:
My long term goal is to represent Australia in either track or cross country, or both! It would be a huge honour to represent my country at such a high level in the sport I am so passionate about. I would also love to place at the NCAA national championships in track or cross country during my college career. Short term, my goals are to qualify in more events for nationals next year, such as the 5000m, in addition to the steeplechase. I also have ambitions to place top 5 at nationals next year in the steeple.
Anything else we should know?
I love endurance sports! Before running, I used to be a swimmer up until March 2020, when I decided to take up running seriously.
