Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

Enthusiastic, determined, fun, competitive, driven.

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

My favourite memory of my athletic career was walking into the opening ceremony of the Youth Commonwealth Games, alongside my team, and being surrounded by so many incredible athletes from around the world. Having so much support from the people around me, gave me a great sense of pride and achievement. The intense energy of the competition led me to achieve PB’s in all 3 of my races including a 9 second PB in the 200m breast. This really felt like a reflection of the hard work that I put in to prepare for this competition.

Goals:

In my swimming I am striving to achieve the best times I can, with a team that has equal drive to accomplish results. I am also aiming to push myself further to bring down my times and compete at the highest level I can.

Anything else we should know?

I received the role of house official during my lower sixth year. This evolved organising the whole of the house, including meetings every other week and all house events, such as sports teams, drama, dance, art, English and more. As house official we work in a team of 3 led by the house captain. Together in our team, we share the responsibility and work with each other to try and win each competition against the other 3 houses.
