Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
committed, hard-working, respectful, ambitious, responsible
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
Even though the buildup to a competition during the times of lockdown were not ideal, I still managed to perform when it was necessary. There was an opportunity for me to compete in a triathlon in 2020 and even though things were not perfect prior to the race to say the least, I still managed to put together a great race, putting together months of hard work since the last season had ended and finishing in first place all while improving my times from the previous year.
Goals:
Going to university in the US and competing in college is a big dream of mine. I am striving to maximize my potential in triathlon over all three disciplines. While working hard in triathlon is one of my goals, I am also excited to continue my education at university, to become a sports psychologist and to help others to train and compete to the best of their abilities.
Anything else we should know?
In 2018 and the beginning of 2019 I stayed abroad in Nanaimo (Canada) for six months where I experienced being in a different learning and athletic environment. Being a part of the cross country team of my high school and the connections that were built made me even more interested in continuing my academic and athletic career in the US.
