Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
I have a lot of amazing memories from my swimming career but there are three memories that really stand out to me.
The first memory is from April 2021 when I, alongside my teammates, set a new Danish junior record in the 4×200 Freestyle. I swam the first leg and touched the wall in a time of 1:50.48. The feeling in the swimming pool was amazing. It was just the 4 of us in lane 4 with the rest of our team cheering their heart out in the stands. It is a memory that I will never forget and cherish for the rest of my life.
The 2nd memory that really stands out to me is from July 2021 when I won my first individual Danish junior championship title in the 200 Free LCM. It was an unreal experience and the feeling when I hit the wall first was truly indescribable.
The 3rd and final memory that I love is from December 2021 when my teammates and I won the Danish Champion title in 4×200 Free. It was a very close race where I swam the first leg in a time of 1:49.72. The nervousness and excitement I felt were unreal when stood behind the starting block cheering as loud as possible. We finished the race about 5 seconds above the Danish Record which we expect to beat very soon!
Goals:
My long term goals are to go to my first European championships in 2024 and the Olympics in 2028 in Los Angeles.
