Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

Hardworking, positive, team player, adaptable, committed.

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

I recently went on a sports tour to America where I played lacrosse and hockey in tournaments and matches against colleges and clubs. The team dynamics showed me how much I enjoyed that environment. Being able to interact with the US college teams and coaches opened my eyes to the opportunities American colleges could have.

Goals:

In the next few years my goals are to gain more experience by qualifying for European junior races and develop in all three disciplines. In the long term my aim is to compete for Great Britain in the World triathlon series and then later in Ironman’s and 70.3 races. My life goals are to be able to be involved within Triathlon and sport whether that be through nutrition and helping other athletes to compete at their best, or in journalism and broadcasting on a range of sports.

Anything else we should know?

I have always played a variety of sports since a young age including Hockey, Lacrosse, and Netball at a national level. Through these team sports I have learnt a lot and it has taught me patience, respect, and comradery.
