What makes you different?
I am a very technical gymnast with a focus on quality and execution, which I believe fits in perfectly with College gymnastics.
I love gymnastics and the feeling of family you have when training with team makes both at Club and National Squad level.
Why do you want to compete in college?
My first introduction to college gymnastics was when I was ten years old and we travelled around the world and I was lucky enough to attend a training session at Hawaiian Island Twisters. Then in late 2019, I represented Leicester against American teams from Region 7 and this is when I really learnt a lot about the American gymnastics system and really become interested in college gymnastics.
I love the team emphasis and the focus on quality which I believe play to my strengths. The added bonus is that I get to carry on training and competing much longer than I probably would in the UK.
Goals:
I want to continue my love affair with gymnastics for as long as possible and see myself being linked to the sport long term either as a coach or as a sport psychologist, possibly combining the two.
Being part of the Scottish National Squad, my personal gymnastic goals is to represent Scotland as often as possible including Northern Europeans and to be part of the team at the 2026 Commonwealth games.
My life goal is to work hard so I can achieve whatever I put my mind to.
What is your favorite event and why?
My favorite event is bars because there are so many skills you could learn and it is very technical and all about great basics.
