Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
At the 2024 South West Regional Championships I had to race the 200 fly and reach a time that would qualify me for the British Summer Nationals for the first time ever for me. I ended up smashing the heats, being way under the time I required therefore qualifying me for the final. I reached the final not expecting to beat the time in the heats, but I dropped another 0.9 off my time and made the podium with 2 of my good friends and got to share the moment with them. One of them also mentioned that we would be going to the next Speedo Aquatics GB Swimming Championships. It was definitely a day I won’t forget.
Goals:
Normally I’ve taken swimming step by step but now a new aim of mine is to reach the 100m butterfly qualifying time for the Speedo Aquatics GB Swimming Championships. I also want to improve my Individual Medley times after having a good improvement on them last season requiring some work on my breaststroke mainly.
Anything else we should know?
I’m looking to continue my swimming journey and education in the USA, to improve my swimming performance further and experience life abroad. I’m committed to continuous improvement in my swimming, and I am excited at the prospect of being part of a University swim team.
