Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Self-driven, motivated, competitive, fun, coaches dream.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My sports have predominantly been Co-Ed. I have always played sports with boys, they play harder and are more competitive. Playing Cricket with the guys and making runs or taking wickets was almost always me with ‘how did you let a GIRL bowl you out, or hit you for a six’. I really excelled under that kind of pressure.
As a girl playing a lot of male dominated sports, the rush of being competitive on a level playing field, always drives we to work harder.
Goals:
Since starting Golf in 2021, I have strived to become a competitive Ladies Golfer. As my Handicap came down, I became more and more driven to perfection. Breaking 100, then 90, then 80. I WILL break 70 soon, compete with the best Ladies golfers and be the best Golfer I can be. I love being part of a Team.
Anything else we should know?
Being a South African female golfer is challenging, with very few opportunities, very limited resources and financial restrictions. I would love to play golf and study in an environment free of these stresses so that I can give the game my all, while achieving academically excellence. I will not be content to just play golf.
