Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

Resilient, conscientious, modest, focused, committed.

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

I have had many good memories from the years of swimming but my best and favourite memory would be when I achieved gold in the 400m IM at the English Nationals. I was really focused in my training leading up to it and after I experienced disappointment with Nationals the previous year, I wanted to prove to myself and others that if you set your mind to it then you can achieve beyond expectation.

Goals:

To achieve all that I can in swimming at the highest level I can. I want to still enjoy swimming, make lots of memories and gain valuable life experiences. I also want to achieve all that I can academically.

Anything else we should know?

I have swam from a very young age and started swimming competitively when I was 7. I have learnt many things through swimming that can help in other aspects of my life and I would definitely say that the best of my friends have been made through swimming.
