Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Resilient, athletic, resourceful, competitive, confident.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My first memory and sense of achievement was winning the Club Championship and knocking out a scratch golfer. I picked up the trophy as the youngest ever women’s club champion at 14.
Another time was my 2nd final round at Roxburghe GC playing in the SGF Vase because I was filled with adrenaline and excitement as I was keen to show my skills and compete after my exam season. I played this round very well, coming in with the lowest score that morning.
Goals:
To have further Scottish Teams selection, my aim is to be as high as possible in the order of merit of the Scottish girls.
I aim to represent my dedication throughout the winter through my performance on the course this season, which I am very excited to do.
I want to play to the best of my ability and compete with the best amateur golfers there are.
Anything else we should know?
Last season was a development year for me with highs and lows, I was determined to secure good academic grades, alongside my golf development. I started the year exceptionally well playing at Goswick (Open Qualifying Course), I went into the final day in 4th position but unfortunately I got hyperthermia in the harsh weather conditions.
I have learned a great amount about myself during last season which I believe will propel me into next season.
I was so proud when I got my first selection to play for Scotland in the Croatian Junior Open, finishing 4th.
