Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
The Belgian Short Course Championship was one of my best meets until now. I improved several personal best times and felt like this was my year, even though I had injured myself two weeks prior to the event. Then, at the Flanders Championship in 2020, for some reason everything went as good as it could have and again I dropped almost every personal record I swam there. I ended up swimming one 1B final, which was very unexpected. It was the 200m IM and the time that I swam that day was the 4th fastest time in Belgium for my age group. I also swam in the A final in the 200m back, so all in all this event was a great experience for me!
Goals:
I want to go to the World Championships, NCAA Nationals, Olympics and to the European Championships!
Anything else we should know?
I currently train 13 hours a week in the pool as well as 3 1/2 hours per week of dry land practice!
