Team silver medalist at British Teams in 2022
Silver medalist at the British Championships in beam (with a fractured shoulder!)
Why do you want to compete in college?
At the end of 2022, I competed for a team in Germany in the Bundesliga. The team were fighting for 3rd place. I competed on the beam and floor and helped the team to the bronze medal. I loved this competition. We all supported each other and even though there was a language barrier, the goal was the same! I would like to replicate this experience competing for a college gymnastics team.
What are you gymnastics goals?
I would like to compete more often which going to college would give me the chance to do. I would also like to feel more confident competing. I would like to continue to learn new things in gymnastics and I would love to be able to help my team become more successful.
What makes you different?
I am a British gymnast and I have competed in a wide range of competitions, both nationally and internationally for Great Britain. I love to meet new people from all nationalities. I am known for being a bit daring and not scared to try new things! I am fun to be around and my determination is second to none!
What is your favourite event and why?
My favourite event is beam because I love to be a bit daring and try out new things. Also I find beam the easiest and I am the most confident on it. I love spins on the beam too! Beam is also my favourite piece to compete, people say I’m a thrill seeker. I find it easy to keep calm during my routine and it has always come quite naturally to me. My favourite piece to watch is definitely bars because it’s so exciting.
