Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

calm, diligent, honest, logical, competitive

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

My best golfing memory was when I had a bogey-free round, which made me win the Greg Norman Junior Masters in 2020. This also got me qualified for a professional tournament, the Isuzu QLD Open, which was a great experience. I was really looking forward to this tournament and had been preparing very hard to win this event!

Goals:

To become a professional golfer and play on the PGA or European Tour!

Anything else we should know?

I started playing golf in London when I was nine years old and had experienced a lot of tournaments, including some US tournaments. After four years in London, I decided to move to Australia with my mum and younger sister to seek a better environment for golf with the plan to go back to Japan later on. Now I am working hard every day to achieve my big goals with my mum’s and coach’s help.
