Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
hardworking, persistent, positive, consistent, strong
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My best memory in golf so far was the first time when I worked with my current coach, we were talking by mobile phone, and decided to make some changes. This was during the Croatian Open this past season and I had just completed my first round, not playing my best golf. The first round I played 6 over, after working on my game after the round I managed to shoot even par the rest of the way and finish the tournament at 6 over! It showed me that hard work really pays off!
Goals:
I want to be part of a great college team to further improve my golf game and one day make it to the PGA Tour and hopefully win major championships!
What other people say about Marko:
’’Marko works hard at every training session and is very focused on
what he is doing. He has clear goals in his golfing career and
achieves them step by step. He is very persistent in achieving his
goals. This year he won the National U21 Championship which was one
of his main goals. He was preparing for this competition very
seriously and he won and played better than all of his friends from the
national team.’’ – Vladimir Simeunovic (Serbian National Team Coach)
