Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Hard working, determined, persevering, ambitious, competitive.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
I would say my best memory in my athletic carrer was when I won the Vietnam Junior Championship because all my family was there to follow me. The weather conditions were really hard with a lot of wind but the course was in incredible condition.
I shot 65 (-7 course record) to comeback from 5 shots behind the leader and finished with 4 birdies on the last six holes to win by two shots.
Goals:
I would like to play the biggest tournaments in the US and face the best players in the world. If I get the opportunity after college, I would like to become a professional golfer and play on the PGA Tour.
Anything else we should know?
Like any high-level sport, you have to know how to combine tournaments on the weekend and studies during the week. I learned early on to develop a great capacity for adaptation and developed a taste for effort. This sport helps me to surpass myself and forces me to pay attention to my physical fitness so as not to fail in my commitments to my club and my teammates.
