Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
organized, hard-working, passionate, thoughtful, determined
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
The best moment in my career so far was winning the SEAA indoor Championships in 2019. During this competition, I achieved a 20cm personal best and cleared 3m for the first time. This had been a goal for a while and it felt amazing to finally achieve it and realise that all my hard work and commitment had paid off.
Goals:
In the future, I would like to become the best athlete I possibly can be and take full advantage of any opportunities that come my way. Competing for my country would be the ultimate goal. I would also like to eventually begin training new pole vaulters at the beginning of their own journey. Academically, I would like to continue studying sport science with the intention of establishing a career within this field.
Anything else we should know?
I am currently studying for a Level 3 Diploma in Sporting Excellence, which is run and organized by England Athletics. I have also undertaken a number of courses relating to officiating and coaching, so I have a wide knowledge of all track and field events. I am also working towards gaining my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
