Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Tenacious, robust, committed, disciplined, optimistic.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
I have many great memories so far in my swimming career, but if I had to pick one, it would probably be getting 3rd place by 0.4s in the 4x100m relay (LCM) at the British summer nationals in 2023.
Goals:
My short term goals include getting new PBs in my core 50 and 100 free events, and importantly qualifying for 200, 400 and 800 free events in the British winter and summer championships of 2023/2024. I have just started to properly focus on these longer distance events in training since the beginning of 2023 and have made some great progress (3rd place in both 200 and 400 free at regionals) which in turn is driving me to push harder. I also hope to be selected for Arena League in the coming year, as I love the team element at these meets, I find myself especially motivated when I am racing as part of a team. For example the 4×100 free relay (3rd place at the British Summer Champs) and in the 4×200 relay (2nd at South West Regionals). For my long term goals I would love to compete in British and English national meets whilst continuing to have fun along the way. I can reach this goal by finding the right university where I can be my best and continue to have a great passion for the sport.
