Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Gutsy, self disciplined, teachable, motivated, adaptable.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
Having experienced various setbacks in my training from illness and injury over the last two years, I was determined to keep training to the best of my ability. In the fall of 2023, I was able to train unhindered and went into the Polish Age Group Short Course Championships in my best form. I was able to repeatedly final in my 5 allowed events, including swimming 2:05.65 in the 200m IM, placing me 5th in Poland and 4th in Britain in my age group. I also swam 2:02.87 in the 200m Back, where I won a bronze medal, ranking me 6th in Britain. But perhaps my best result was swimming a split of 1:06.95 in the 4 x 100 medley relay, an event I rarely compete in.
Goals:
To achieve excellent academic results from a top university in my subject
To be the best swimmer that I can be and contribute to the success of the College Swim Team
To have an amazing life experience studying and swimming in the USA and chasing me as a young man for life
Anything else we should know?
I play the cello to Grade 6 standard.
