Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
disciplined, ambitious, focused, hard-working, persistent
What makes you different?
I started very late compared to other good triathletes of my age, because when I was younger I was overweight. I had to learn to eat better and exercise more to get healthier. I discovered triathlon and at the start I did not like it too much for the reason that running was difficult for me due to my weight, but as I got fitter and stronger I changed my thoughts and I started taking it seriously. I started competing at the national level and I was not bad at all, so I got curious about how far could I go if I trained even more and did everything I could to get better. A year and a half ago, I changed to a very good coach and got into a swimming team, which helped me improve dramatically. Now, I continue training hard and hope to get good results in my firsts Junior European Cups this year. In conclusion, I am willing to do whatever it takes!
Goals:
My goals are to develop myself as a student athlete and person. I am interested in studying in the United States because I know that people take sports very serious over there and engineering degrees are also very good in the US.
Why do you want to compete in college?
I think that if I find a good college that pushes me to be the best version of myself, that I would develop a lot as a student athlete!
