Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
I have four favorite memories in my swimming career! One was the first time I qualified and made a final in the 200IM in the British Summer Championships in 2016. My next best memories are when I won my silver medal at the 2019 British Summer Championships in the 200 IM, and also my bronze medal in the 200IM at the Luxembourg Meet. Finally, my last favorite memory is my 5k open water event in Bala, Wales, which took place in horrendous wavy conditions and am proud to say that I won the 15 and over age group.
Goals:
My long term goal is that I would like to continue to develop my swimming alongside my studies at university, which will eventually lead me to my career path. I aim to use my swimming knowledge and experience in order to do this. As for my short term swimming goals, I wish to qualify for more national and international meets as well as improve any techniques and skills that I need to focus on.
Anything else we should know?
I have completed my level 1 time keeping course to become an official in competitions. I also received a Volunteer Award in Competitive Swimming. Lastly, I have helped some younger swimmers by coaching them and guiding them in swimming.
