Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
driven, focused, positive, passionate, disciplined
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My favorite swimming memory is the competition where I gained my confidence in my abilities as a swimmer. It was the British Championships in 2018 when I was only 13 years old and it was the first time that I had been to a British meet. I was in the first heat of the 400 IM, where I won the heat and took five seconds off my PB, which gained me a spot in the 13/14 year old age group final! I finished 7th and took an additional two seconds off my personal best time. This moment inspires me to this day to keep pushing myself towards my goals.
Goals:
One of my main goals is to compete and be part of my collegiate team. I would also like to swim and represent my country at International meets more often.
Anything else we should know?
In my county I am a “Sports Star”, which involves inspiring other young athletes and leading youth projects in my community. This has given me opportunities to take on more of a leadership role such as leading online workouts in my club and coaching younger children at my school.
