Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
persistent, hard-working, ambitious, dependable, motivated
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
I would say that my best memory was running the 5km in Milton Keynes. At the time, I was just relieved to finally break some personal barriers and I had not raced in nearly a year. Training was going okay but not fantastic, so to run well in tough and windy conditions and on a hilly course, leading the race from gun to tape was definitely a great experience. That race fills me with confidence that I can run 15:20 or quicker due to the conditions on that day which makes me very happy and excited for the future.
Goals:
My running goals are defiantly time focused. In my running career I want to run sub 14 for 5k and sub 30 for 10k. In life, I want to be able to make a difference to people. The ultimate goal is to work within elite sport but working in public health to make a difference to people’s lives through the benefit of sport and personal health is also an area I would like to work in.
