Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Honest, respectful, team player, committed, competitive.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My best memory in golf is when I shot a solid 3 under par during a 2 day, 72 hole IPT Tournament. It was the lowest score of the tournament and helped me secure my position in the South Africa High Schools Team. I missed first position by one shot.
Goals:
My golf goal is to secure a scholarship to an American University where I can graduate with a solid Business Management Degree, and have the opportunity to compete in collegiate tournaments. It would be an honour and a dream to be an All American like my brother Dylan, who won the NCAA D2 Nationals in 2003. I am grateful for this opportunity and plan to work 10x harder to be 10x better than I need to be.
Anything else we should know?
I recently competed two cultural courses that have had an impact on me.
- Dale Carnegie, which helped me build my confidence, public speaking and leadership skills.
- The Gold President Award, recognised by the Duke of Edinburgh for completing 72 hours of community driven projects in underprivileged areas for various NPO’s.
I achieved my Category C Skippers License for surf launching and 15 nautical miles compliant.
