Why do you want to compete in college?
I was inspired by Ragan Smith and Danusia Francis, ever since I’ve seen them represent their colleges. They have shown me how fun and beautiful gymnastics can look. I also like to have the option to progress my studies whilst also being able to continue my gymnastics.
What are your gymnastics goals:
I want to compete internationally in gymnastics at an elite level and represent my college. For my future career, I’d like to stay somewhere within sport for example physio or coaching.
What makes you different?
I am a bubbly person and I make people around me smile. I am also a very dedicated gymnast and I strive to make my skills perfect and won’t stop until they are… I love being a team player. Being a team player means that I can cheer people on, help them by giving them tips to improve on their skills. Most importantly, I absolutely adore this sport.
What is your favourite event and why?
I absolutely love beam and floor because I like to show off my artistry and it’s where I feel most relaxed. For the first 5 years of my gymnastics career I used to do rhythmic gymnastics and performed many different floor routines showing off my dancing skills and flexibility and it just feels right.
