Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

Club Men’s Team 2023: In 2022 we dropped out of the Elite Division to D1, so in 2023 our target was to win D1 and get back up to the Elite Division. After a lot of good golf from myself and my teammates we ended in a play-off. Our Captain selected me for the play-off, which made me a bit nervous at first. However, when I got to the tee I decided to just enjoy it and secure the win. We won the play-off on the first hole and reached our target to get back in the elite division 2024. It was a great (and lasting) feeling to succeed as a team after a lot of hard work and great accomplishments by all the players.

Club Championship 2023: I won our Club Championship in 2023 playing in a strong field of former professionals and current elite players. Here I also ended in a play-off after shooting -6 over 2 rounds. There were a lot of spectators for the play-off, which was fun, but also got my pulse up a bit initially. Once again, I just decided to just enjoy it and secure the win. I won after 3 very close play-off holes when I glued the ball to the stick from 140 yards for a birdie. It was a great feeling to become our Club Champ, also tying the record as the youngest player to succeed with this. It was also a great feeling to prove to myself once more that I can perform well under pressure. 

Goals:

My goal is to continue to improve my game, step by step to reach my highest potential as a golfer.

My dream is to play for Europe in the Ryder Cup and to win on the DP World Tour or PGA Tour.

Golf related:

• 1 of 7 seven boys in Sweden selected in 2022 by the Swedish Golf Federations to attend a sought after national 3-year golf program, which I attend in parallel to my high-school (2022-2025)
• Regional rank: # 1 in my age group for several consecutive years
• National rank: I have ranked consistently amongst the top players my age group since I started competing at a young age
• Top 10 finish in 47% of the tournaments played (2023 season)
• Top 5 finish in 35% of the tournaments played (2023 season)
• First result for 2024 was T6 (of 102) competing against the vast majority of the highest ranked juniors in Sweden (U21 and below)   

School related:

• Pre-High School: Class representative in teacher/student council
• High School: Student Body Representative. During my first high-school year I was selected to help our school management introduce our high school to the following year’s new students and parents.
