Adrien Dumont de Chassart wins French Boys Championship
This past week, our Belgian golfer Adrien Dumont de Chassart added another title to his impressive resume by winning the prestigious French Boys Championship. This was the second big title for Adrien, after winning the European Young Masters in Switzerland last year. He also finished 2nd at the 2015 Orange Bowl tournament in Miami.
Adrien, who plays of a +3 handicap in Belgium, recently committed to the University of Illinois, where he will play for legendary coach Mike Small starting in the fall of 2018. He will also continue a tradition of top quality Belgian players at Illinois, following in the footsteps of Thomas Pieters and Thomas Detry, who both had outstanding careers for the Illini.
We look forward to continue watching Adrien’s progress, both in big amateur events around the world, and then next year playing in the NCAA in America. We are very proud to have helped Adrien with this complicated process of finding the right golf scholarship, but it really gives us great joy to see him fulfill his dreams and play college golf in America, while also getting a world class education. Congrats Adrien and keep up the good work!
