College Sports America names Roddy Barker Director of South Africa
On August 4th, College Sports America announced that it has named Roddy Barker Director of South Africa. By filling this position, CSA continues to strengthen its presence in South Africa and also continues to expand the company’s brand globally. Director Nick Flynn is extremely excited about the addition of Barker to the team. “South Africa is a huge market with a lot of potential in so many sports. Being able to add someone with Roddy’s knowledge and experience is fantastic and has us as a company very excited. We will see some obvious results from this addition and the ones that will benefit from this the most will be the young and talented athletes in South Africa“, Flynn says.
Roddy Barker comes to College Sports America, having gained some very valuable experience in the business world, but even more importantly having also worked with South African golfers and helping them with their career development. Barker has a passion for helping young athletes and will therefore fit in perfectly within the CSA family. “ My passion and experience will be an asset to the College Sports America team and I look forward to giving our top talented South African sports achievers the opportunity to open the door to the world“, said Barker, who will work with athletes from all sports, backgrounds, and regions of the country.

A business owner of 19 years with a keen interest in sport and mentorship I have found that education and education in Sport is where I would like to extend my career. I have been involved in junior golf player management for 5 years, amateur golf for 2 years and now an education and golf solution for the future of our young up and coming golf enthusiasts. My GED learning / tutor service has given our students every chance they deserve to become better players, well rounded individuals as well as being educated with an international High School qualification. With this in place for three and a half years has shown proven results with our first graduate achieving a successful sports scholarship to America and our second graduate entering into the pro world of his golf career. My passion and experience will be an asset to the College Sports America team and I look forward to giving our top talented South African sports achievers the opportunity to open the door to the world.
