Being a student-athlete…Interview with one of our experts

College Sports America recently sat down with one of our new team members to get some expert advice about college sports and about what it takes to be a successful student-athlete. Lindsay Sherbert is one of the newest additions to our scouting team and her knowledge and experience will be very valuable to our company and to all basketball athletes working with us. Lindsay played college basketball for two big NCAA basketball powerhouses. She first played two years for the University of California Berkeley before transferring to Gonzaga for her last two years of eligibility. In her senior year, Lindsay made it to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. She currently plays professionally in Germany and therefore fulfills all the criteria that we look for in a scout. We are very proud to have Lindsay as part of our scouting team and look forward to having her share her knowledge with our young basketball players. As you can see in the interview, Lindsay is extremely passionate about college sports and she “loved every minute of being a college basketball player”. She knows exactly what it takes to receive a basketball scholarship in the US and will be able to guide every aspiring college basketball player through the process. Her best advice that she can give to young student-athletes is to “always work hard”, both in the classroom and on the basketball court. So always keep that in mind, if you plan on becoming a college basketball player! Below is the video of the entire interview with Lindsay and there is definitely some great information and advice in there for every young basketball player who dreams of playing college basketball.
